Surroundings
The city of Assens is located 2.5 km from Torøhuse. Assens offers in shops, museums, eateries and Tobaksgården with musical events. In addition, the city has 4 discount stores as well as SuperBrugsen.
There are excursions to Baagø by ferry from the port of Assens or the possibility to ride a rail bike in West Funen.
To the south there are Saltofte Strand, Sønderby Klint, Aa Strand, Hagenskov Gods and the beautiful Helnæs. A good eatery in that direction is Gl. Brydegaard, which focuses on local raw materials, ecology and animal welfare.
The view is magnificent over the water and Torø from the apartment's large terrace with table-bench sets.
There is a barbecue and smoking oven that can be used. In addition, there are usually herbs in the garden that you can use for cooking.
Tranquility and relaxation
The apartment and the place caters, among other things. for couples and families with up to 2 children.
Around and in Torøhuse you will find beach meadows with birds and rare plants, fishing opportunities, wave beach with swimming bridge to the south and shallow child-friendly beach 200 m from our house to the north. Likewise, shorter or longer hikes to Sønderby Klint, Torø and the Slam pools in Assens are recommended.
The place is ideal for kayaking, windsurfing, kite surfing and angling.
We have crab fishing gear as well as shrimp nets for kids.
