Assens Awake in Assens – A Music Festival Featuring Top Danish Artists

Look forward to a festive late summer evening when Assens Awake returns on Saturday, 22 August 2026. Arena Assens once again provides the setting for a major music event with live performances, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere – both outdoors and indoors.

The event brings together music lovers of all ages for a day centred around community, great music, and the spirit of summer. When the outdoor concerts come to an end, the celebration continues with an afterparty inside Arena Assens.

Programme

The festival grounds open at 4:00 PM, followed by a line-up of popular Danish artists.

At 10:30 PM, the indoor afterparty venue opens with DJ Loui G warming up the crowd before KATO takes the stage. Afterwards, DJ Loui G keeps the party going late into the night.

Food and Drinks

A variety of food stalls will be available throughout the festival grounds. For an extra special experience, you can pre-book a sushi experience on the terrace, including reserved seating overlooking the stage while enjoying sushi, wine, and local beers. Sushi must be booked in advance.
