In October, The Abandoned Summerland once again opens its gates to one of Denmark’s most intense Halloween experiences. Bigger, wilder, and scarier than ever before. Embark on a terrifying walk through the old amusement park, transformed into a spooky universe filled with actors, special effects, and dark stories.
5 terrifying zones
During your visit, you will encounter five unique zones – each with its own theme and actors:
- The Dark Forest – sinister creatures lurking in the trees
- The Asylum – abandoned corridors with restless inhabitants
- Carnival – a twisted circus full of dangerous secrets
- Zombie – the living dead appear where you least expect them
- Purgatory – face the unknown beyond
More than 30 actors in full costume and makeup create an atmosphere that is both realistic and hair-raising.
Kids’ Scare – for the younger ones
Halloween doesn’t have to be just for adults. Monday to Thursday during the autumn holidays, children aged 6–14 can experience Kids’ Scare – a toned-down version of The Abandoned Summerland with two zones, effects, and spooky fun designed for children.

- Price: 149 DKK per child – one adult free per paying child

- Opening hours: 6:00 PM–12:00 AM (main event). Peak queues expected from 8:00–10:30 PM
- Age: Recommended 13+. Parents decide if their child is ready. Yellow vest = milder experience (recommended for children up to 15)
- Food & drinks: Available for purchase throughout the evening

- Accessibility: Some zones not suitable for wheelchair users
