Baagø Camping, close to the beach, nature, and experiences

Baagø Camping is a small, cozy campsite. The campsite is located on Prinsehøjsvej close to the island’s best swimming beach and is an ideal starting point for exploring the island.

Children up to and including 12 years receive a child rate. The pitch fee applies to caravans and tents.
Electricity connection: DKK 30 per day.

Location

Baagø Camping is a small and atmospheric campsite close to the island’s best swimming beach and an ideal base for experiences on the island.

You reach Baagø by ferry from Assens. The crossing takes 30 minutes. In addition to approximately 90 passengers, the ferry can also carry a limited number of cars.

It is a good idea to reserve a ferry ticket in advance, even if you are not bringing a car.

In the harbour building, you will find a waiting room as well as toilet and shower facilities. There is also a larger picnic shelter at the harbour.

At Baagø Nature Center, located about halfway across the island, there is a public toilet and a nice outdoor area with tables and benches where you can enjoy your packed lunch.

Activities and nature

Enjoy the peace and quiet. Nature and birdlife are Baagø’s main attractions. It is easy to walk and cycle around the island – also for children, as the island is flat. There is a lovely swimming beach right by Baagø Harbour.

Visit Baagø Nature Center, where you can see a small exhibition about the island’s wildlife and birdlife. Admission is free.

• The campsite shares shower and toilet facilities with Baagø Marina. At the harbour, you will find toilets, shower rooms, and a washing machine.
• Showers and use of the washing machine are paid for with a harbour card, which can be purchased in the waiting room at the harbour.
