Assens is the perfect stop for those exploring the area by e-bike. The town offers several convenient charging stations where you can easily power up your e-bike while enjoying everything Assens has to offer.

How it works

You can either bring your own charger or use the lockable charging cabinets.

• Charging cabinets: Bring your own charger. Plug it into the socket inside the cabinet and lock it with a 4-digit code of your choice.
• Charging stations: If you have one of the following plugs, you can connect directly to the station:
  • 3PIN 36V
  • 4PIN 36V
  • Bosch 36V
  • Phylion 5PIN 36V

All charging is free and at your own risk. Instructions are available on-site at both cabinets and stations.

The Danish Road Directorate has installed e-bike charging stations at the following four locations:

• Agernæs Harbour

  • 2 charging stations and 4 cabinets by the toilet building

• Assens – Willemoes' Square
  • Willemoes’ Plads 3, 5610 Assens
  • 12 charging cabinets at the end of the building
  • Also features a bicycle repair station

• Helnæs Lighthouse
  • Lindhovedvej 31A, 5631 Ebberup
  • 2 charging stations and 4 cabinets near the toilet facilities

  • Strandgårdsvej 20, 5610 Assens
  • 2 charging stations and 4 cabinets near the toilet facilities
  • Plus Code: 8VMH+PFR Assens
