Kunstforeningen Galleriet – Rotating art exhibitions in Aarup

In the basement of Kulturhuset Industrien in Aarup, you’ll find Galleriet – an atmospheric exhibition space where art, volunteerism, and community go hand in hand. Kunstforeningen Galleriet (the Art Association) was founded in 2013 and is one of several associations run by volunteers under the roof of Kulturhuset Industrien.

Art in Many Forms – for Everyone

Each year, Galleriet hosts 10 different exhibitions, changing monthly. You can experience everything from paintings, ceramics, and glass to sculptures, photography, and paper-based works. The styles are diverse, but the quality is always high.

The exhibitions are curated by the association, which collaborates with artists from across the country to select works that challenge and inspire.

Openings and Meeting the Artists

On the first Thursday of every month from 17:00 to 18:00, you are invited to a vernissage where you can meet the featured artist and hear the story behind the works. It’s a warm and informal event where art and people connect over a glass and a good conversation.

Kunstforeningen Galleriet is run by volunteers with a passion for art and cultural dialogue – and you are always welcome to stop by and be inspired.

Membership costs DKK 200 per household per year and includes:

• Invitations to all exhibition openings
• Opportunity to meet the artists in person
• Free access to all exhibitions
• 10% discount on artworks for sale
• Participation in the annual general meeting with a draw for purchased artworks
