Museum ERNST
Museum ERNST is silversmith and silverware manufacturer Frederik Ernst’s extraordinary universe of antiques, porcelain, and art, curated and staged by the man himself.

Museum ERNST: One Place – Many Worlds
Step into the welcoming atmosphere of the manufacturer's lavish apartment – a 250 m² universe of beauty, extravagance and perhaps a touch of obsession. The apartment's thousands of objects have all been carefully selected according to Frederik Ernst's unwavering philosophy: "If it is beautiful, I must own it."
Discover the story of the man behind the remarkable collection: silversmith and silverware manufacturer, collector, gay man and singer in provincial Denmark during the 20th century. Learn about J. Ernst's Silverware Factory, which gave Frederik Ernst the financial freedom to travel and build his extraordinary collection. Don't miss the charming Italian-inspired courtyard garden – Frederik Ernst's Garden.
At Museum ERNST, you'll also find our cosy Café ERNST, where you can enjoy hot and cold drinks as well as sweet treats. On sunny days, you can relax with your coffee in the museum garden. Both the garden and Café ERNST are free to visit.
Museum ERNST is part of Museum Vestfyn.
