Terrariet is a specialised zoo for reptiles and amphibians and is home to one of Scandinavia's largest collections of exotic and endangered species. Every year, thousands of visitors come to Terrariet to experience these fascinating reptiles up close and learn about the important role they play in natural ecosystems.

Great experiences every day
Come and see the animals up close during feeding time and hear the knowledgeable staff share fascinating facts about them. The feeding programme changes daily, so there is always something exciting to experience. During holidays and weekends, there is even more to discover. Hear stories about a specially selected animal and learn more about the nature and biology of reptiles. If you are really brave, you may even get the chance to come extra close!
You can also book special wildlife experiences for groups, and Terrariet also offers off-site visits to companies and schools.

The Field Hospital. Imagine stepping into a field hospital in the heart of snake country. The lights are dimmed. The doctor's equipment is ready for the next patient. The smell of disinfectant hangs in the air. And outside the window, behind just 2 cm of glass, lie the snakes. But these are no ordinary snakes. These are the snakes whose bites the doctors here are fighting to save lives from!
Food and drinks
At Terrariet's kiosk, you can buy ice cream, snacks, and hot and cold drinks. You are welcome to enjoy your own packed food in the garden or in the educational centre's pleasant indoor area overlooking the Komodo dragons.
Facilities and accessibility
Terrariet is located just a few kilometres from Exit 54 on the E20 motorway. Free parking is available in the area around Terrariet.
The entire Terrariet exhibition is accessible with wheelchairs, prams and pushchairs, although a few areas may be somewhat challenging to navigate.
An accessible toilet is available, which also has a baby-changing table.
