Experience music and stand-up in the Tobaksgaarden cultural center in Assens and in the industry in Aarup, which is open air theater in Frøbjerg. Throughout the summer there are plenty of small and large events for both locals and tourists.

We are so lucky to be able to offer to watch movies in the cinema 4 places in the municipality. 4 different and nice cinemas.

See artist Peter Brande's three stained glass windows in Gamtofte Church or find the cannon ball stuck on Our Lady Church in Assens. The size of Our Lady Church testifies to the times when Assens was a hub between Hamburg and Copenhagen. The churches store many tales.

As in the rest of Funen, there are castles and manor houses on West Funen. The Linen Tissue Museum and the Škoda Museum are located in buildings belonging to the manor Krengerup Estate, whose main building is the focal point of one of Denmark's best preserved manor environments.

Assens Mini-Village was founded in the early 1990s when five Assens residents decided to launch activities that could benefit Assens Municipality, particularly in terms of tourism. One of the activities marked the founding of Assens Mini-Village.

The long history of the shipbuilders in Assens and the connection between the town's history and changes in the building of ships deserve to be told.

In the village of Solevad, the farms Solevadgård and Solevad Enggård established in 1871 a common watermill along Holmehave Bæk, which runs between the two farms.

Museet Lilleskov Teglværk/Lilleskov Brickworks Museum The aim and object of the Lilleskov Teglværk Society, founded in 1985, is to preserve and run Lilleskov Teglværk as a tileworks museum. In recent years, the society’s activities have steadily increased in terms of both versatility and scope.

Visit Freedomfighter Jens Toldstrup's house, where he spent his childhood Jens Toldstrup was born on 30 June 1915 in Assens. He was named and honored as Europe's best receptionist in connection with the resistance struggle during the occupation of 1940-1945.

Vestfyn's local heritage farm in the village of Gummerup The farm is part of a well-preserved village with three closely situated farms that were never relocated, unlike many others in the 1700s.
